Texas Autism Academy is awesome! These teachers have stepped out of their 20+ careers in the public school system to create a school to help all kids on the spectrum!! They are educating them on all levels of the TEKS performance standards and integrate social skills in every aspect of the day. In addition, they have a dedicated social skills timeslot in each day. Since our son has started, he has had the opportunity to have friends that really care about him and celebrate every accomplishment. He is able to share his fears and concerns and have loving support from everyone! Thank you to these awesome ladies who stepped out on a leap of faith and created this awesome environment for our children to learn, accel, create relationships, and enjoy school!! Both academically and socially!!
