Enrollment for 2024 - 2025 - Full Day Program - Ages 4 - 18 OPEN NOW! Extended School Year - August 14 2024 - June 18, 2024
Following a two-week delay due to Hurricane Harvey, Texas Autism Academy began its inaugural school year Sept. 18 at 1009 Pruitt Road, The Woodlands. Founded by ASD Hope, Inc., a nonprofit organization comprised of local educators, TAA is a private school, which integrates applied behavior analysis principles throughout its curriculum, tailored for students on all levels of the autism spectrum.
Each student has individualized educational and behavioral plans designed by a board-certified behavior analyst, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 7:2.
The school offers a full-day program for children ages 4-10, a half-day program for children ages 3-4, after school care options and summer programs. TAA officials said they plan to add a grade level each year, until they have students with ages ranging from 4 to 22 years old.
The school will eventually offer job training and junior college classes for students ages 18-22. Mainstream and inclusion classrooms may also be added in the future. For more information, call 281-771-5348
